Our story
Founded for the Houston market.
Sierra Heating and Cooling LLC was founded in Houston to serve homeowners, small businesses, HOAs, apartment communities, and property managers across the greater Houston metro area. The decision to build the company around clear communication and flat-rate pricing came from years of watching the industry default to vague quotes and post-job upsells.
Houston is one of the hardest HVAC markets in the country. Systems run 2,200+ hours per year, which is nearly double the national average. Heat waves push systems to their limits for months. Most contractors respond to the demand with surge pricing and reactive repairs. We took the opposite position — preventive maintenance, transparent flat-rate pricing, and a service philosophy that treats the long-term health of the system as the actual goal.
Today we serve Houston, Katy, Cypress, Spring, The Woodlands, Humble, Conroe, Sugar Land, The Heights, Tomball, and surrounding communities. We work on every major residential and commercial brand and are not tied to a single manufacturer, so recommendations stay aligned with what is best for the customer rather than what hits a quota.
